Lightroom & Photoshop Together (Learn When to Use Photoshop and When Not To)
contact usMany photographers believe they must “learn Photoshop” to improve their images — but no one tells them what they actually need to know or when Photoshop is worth using.
In this live, online 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn a clear decision-making framework for when Lightroom is enough — and when Photoshop truly adds value.
Instead of overwhelming tools and menus, this class focuses on real-world scenarios Lightroom users face every day. You’ll see practical demonstrations, simple Photoshop techniques that matter most to photographers, and a clean Lightroom → Photoshop → Lightroom workflow that feels approachable and efficient.
While Lightroom cc is an extreamly powerful image editing and can probabaly handle ninty to ninty five percent of what we as photographers need, Photoshop provides many powerful tools to expand our capabilities.
In this workshop we will discuss and demonstraight several of the most popular ones which will include:
• Content-Aware Fill
• Stroking an image
• Moving and resizing objects
• Blending and combining images
• Portrait Face Enhancing
• Smart Healing
• Generative AI functions
Adobe CC subscription users get Photoshop in addition to LightRoom, so why not use it?
Some knowledge of Photoshop is recommended if you are going to follow along with the workshop or you can sit back, watch, and learn how these tools are used.
