Adobe Lightroom for Beginners - An Interactive Workshop

If you are interested in digital photography, then Adobe Lightroom is the best option for you, over any other post-processing software. Lightroom is an exceptionally quick application. It can deal with hundreds or even thousands of images at once. If you take digital photography seriously, Lightroom saves you time converting, organizing, and editing your images.

This hands-on workshop is designed to give you a brief overview and the basics of how to:

1. Setup Lightroom Classic CC on your computer.
2. Transfer and import your images from your camera.
3. Process your images. ( Sometimes the smallest adjustment can make a huge improvement in your work )

We will cover:

1. The user interface and workspace panels.
2. Important setting preferences.
3. How to import images into Lightroom.
4. Basic use of the develop module to 'post-process' your images.

How the workshop works:
Our interactive workshops are designed to emulate a classroom environment, the students can work along with the instructor, ask questions and the instructor has the ability to asst them in real time. Classes are always kept small and intimate. Nobody gets left behind.

Prior to the start of the workshop each student receives a workbook and a set of images used in the class, as well as, instructions on how access the online class.

What you need:

In order to get the most out of this workshop, attendees should have the latest copy of Lightroom Classic CC installed on their computer.

To register you must send an email to alan@photoartbyalan.com with the Subject "Registration request Lightroom for Beginners ".

Registration ends at 12 pm on the day before the workshop.

You will receive and registration form / invoice which can be paid via PayPal or any Credit Card. Once payment is received, you will be sent instructions on how to join the class and the class material package. Payments are refundable, less a $4 processing fee, prior to 24 hours before the start of class.

The class will be limited to 8 people to ensure that all questions are answered. The workshop will be recorded and made available to the attendees for free up to four weeks after the workshop.
