Creating a winning Black and White photograph requires more than one click.

In this presentation we will examine several techniques, using Lightroom Classic, Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop which can be used to perform the conversion from color to black and white.

These techniques will include using:

1. Profiles and Presets

2. HSL and B&W Adjustments

3. Selective Color adjustments and Toning

4. Create One Color Black and White Image

5. Black and White adjustment layers

6. Gradient mapping

We will also discuss techniques for creating Black and White images directly from your mirrorless cameras

Some knowledge of Lightroom Classic, Camera Raw and Photoshop is recommended, if you are going to follow along with the workshop or you can sit back, watch, and learn how these tools are used.

Unlike many other on-line workshops, our interactive workshops are designed to emulate a classroom environment, the students can work along with the instructor, ask questions and have the instructor see and assist them.
