This course is a 'hands on' instructional workshop, designed to get users familiar with the key features of the Lightroom Classic CC Software for processing their images.

It is designed for beginners. Experienced users who want a comprehensive review of the Lightroom functionality may want to attend as well, and users of other editing software such as Photoshop Elements users who are considering switching to Lightroom.

We will cover the User Interface, important settings and functions in the Library and Develop modules, as well as learn how to import and export your processed images to social media and to others through email, etc.

Specific areas which will be covered include:

1. The User interface and workspace panels.
2. The importance of certain preference settings and a brief discussion of how the 'catalog' works.
3. How to import images into Lightroom.
4. How to Organize, use catalogs, rate images, search for and select images for processing.
5. Basic use of the Develop module to 'post process' images.
6. Exporting images from Lightroom.

Prerequisites: In order to get the most out of this workshop attendees should have a working copy of Lightroom Classic, current version preferred, installed on their computer.
