Learn how to efficiently use the various Selection tools, Layers and Layer Masks for precise and nondestructive editing in Photoshop.

The three most important features in Photoshop are Layers, Selections and Masks. With almost twenty different selection tools and options available we will discuss the most common Selection techniques that photographers use. We will explain how to work with Layers and using Layer Masking techniques to restrict adjustments and do background replacements.

Some of the Tools we will discuss are: Quick Selection, Magic Wand, Various Lasso Tools, Subject and Object Selections., Select and Mask.

General Information:

Unlike many other on-line workshops, our interactive workshops are designed to emulate a classroom environment, the students can work along with the instructor, ask questions and have the instructor see and assist them.

The class will be held using the Zoom with each student able to interact with the instructor and the rest of the class. Each class will be limited to 10 people to ensure that everyone receives personal attention and that all questions are answered. The classes are recorded and made available to the attendees for 2 weeks.

Prior to the start of the workshop each student receives a Workbook, a set of images used in the class and instructions on how access the online class.

You will receive a registration / invoice via email, which can be paid via PayPal or Credit Card. Once payment is received, you will be sent instructions on how to join the class and the class material package. Payments are refundable, less a $4 processing fee, prior to 24hours before the start of class.
