This workshop will be conducted at Camera Land NY in Old Bethpage New York Instructor Alan Agdern 

Class CPS06 - $90 fee  

The three most important features in Photoshop are Layers, Selections and Masks. With almost  twenty different selection tools and options available we will discuss the most common Selection  techniques that photographers use. We will also use Layer Masking techniques to restrict  adjustments and do background replacements. 

Many Photoshop ask about the options settings that are available for each type of tool.  We will explain and demonstrate what the options are and how to use them. 

Some of the Tools we will discuss are: 

1. Quick Selection. 

2. Magic Wand. 

3. Various Lasso Tools. 

4. Subject and Object Selections. 

5. Select and Mask. 

Unlike many other workshops, in our classroom environment the students can work along with  the instructor, ask questions and have the instructor see and assist them. The class will be limited  to 6 people to ensure that all questions are answered. Students must provide their own laptops  with the current version of the software installed if they want to do the exercises or they can just  observe. Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed, with masks and safe distantness observed. 

Prior to the start of the workshop each student receives an electronic copy of the Workbook and a set of  images used in the class.

You will receive and registration form / invoice which is to be paid via PayPal or Credit Card. Once  payment is received, you will be sent instructions on how to join the class and the class material package.  Payments are refundable, less a $4 processing fee, prior to 24hours before the start of class.
