‍Day 3 at SHOT Show‍

Today I started out over at the Caesar's Pavilion with Sightron. A couple of months ago Sightron got a new director of sales. We've spoken on the phone numerous times, however, today I got to meet Ian. Ian seems like a straight up guy that wants to grow the brand with quality additions.I saw their new SV 8x42 ED SWA and SV 10x42 ED SWA Binoculars. Made in Japan and Extra Wide FOV. A nice addition for them.

I then strolled over to chat with Dennis at Arken. OK, HUGE news to report. I was informed that Arken is going through a restructuring, with a new management team, where they will go back to their original plan of focusing on innovations and bringing value to consumers.Dennis has been my DNT rep for the last year and he has been sent to Arken to help with this restructure. Those of you familiar with Arken know how great their scopes are, how they are priced way below their competition but have had the worst consumer customer service of any company, until now. This collaboration between DNT Optics and Arken will provide better customer service, more support, and faster fulfillment times (way less back order issues). Now Arken will have the same stellar customer service you've seen over at DNT. Please be patient during the process as it's not like flipping a switch.Through the collaboration with both DNT and Arken a decision was made that all Nightvision, Thermal and Electronic Optics will be handled by DNT and all Riflescopes will be handled by Arken. This, apparently, has been in the works for a bit which is why the riflescopes I posted about from last years SHOT Show, that were to come out from DNT, were not released as they will shortly be released under the Arken label.

My last official meeting for SHOT Show was over at Armasight. Great quality Thermal Optics. They showed me the new Pro lines, Contractor Pro, Warden Pro, Sidekick Pro, Collector Pro, Jockey Pro and Commander Pro. These are advanced version of the non pro units you've loved, but faster and higher resolution. Coming this Spring so stay tuned..
